Unbreakable 04:03
Eyes widen when they see you With awe, with love and pride Of your bravery and courage When most would run and hide Into nothing Into nothing Don’t want to close your eyes For fear of what you’ll see Cry on my shoulder Open up to me Take my hand Take my hand We’re unbreakable, irreplaceable Together we’ll go on Friends come and go But you need to know I’m a constant who’ll be strong for you A promise always holding true For the rest of time The rest of time I’ve taken you for granted But now I’ll never leave your side In life’s uphill battle I’ll take the reins while we ride Through the storm Through the storm I was here at the beginning And I’ll be here ‘til the end Blood’s thicker than water, Holding a love that transcends Any other Any other We’re unbreakable, irreplaceable Together we’ll go on Friends come and go But you need to know I’m a constant who’ll be strong for you A promise always holding true For the rest of time The rest of time Just as the sky clears after the rain The sun will appear through this pain Shining rays of light On the bond that’s you and I Shining rays of light Reminding us as we try to fly again Fly again We’re unbreakable, irreplaceable Together we’ll go on Friends come and go But you need to know... We’re unbreakable, irreplaceable Together we’ll go on Friends come and go But you need to know I’m a constant who’ll be strong for you A promise always holding true For the rest of time The rest of time We’re unbreakable, irreplaceable Together we’ll go on For the rest of time The rest of time

Feeling my way through the darkness Guided by a beating heart I can't tell where the journey will end But I know where to start They tell me I'm too young to understand They say I'm caught up in a dream Well life will pass me by if I don't open up my eyes Well that's fine by me So wake me up when it's all over When I'm wiser and I'm older All this time I was finding myself And I didn't know I was lost I tried carrying the weight of the world But I only have two hands I hope I get the chance to travel the world But I don't have any plans I wish that I could stay forever this young Not afraid to close my eyes Life's a game made for everyone And love is the prize So wake me up when it's all over When I'm wiser and I'm older All this time I was finding myself And I didn't know I was lost So wake me up when it's all over When I'm wiser and I'm older I was finding myself I didn't know I didn't know I was lost I didn't know I was lost

I had no means to express myself All the thoughts in the mess of my mind Now with this outlet, I find You're the lyrics to my melody Allowing my dreams to run wild and free Now the pathway's clear, I see It's you who inspired me to the core Made me reflective I feel it now more than ever before It's you who inspired me to the core I renewed my perspective I feel it now more than ever before Your story is my something more Life dealt you a lousy hand Why it was you I will never understand Leaving so soon wasn't planned I get consumed in all that life can be But you're the ray of positivity Wherever you are, I see It's you who inspired me to the core Made me reflective I feel it now more than ever before It's you who inspired me to the core I renewed my perspective I feel it now more than ever before Your story is my something more Remind us for eternity Counting memories, memories not breaths Living just letting be It's you who inspired me to the core Made me reflective I feel it now more than ever before It's you who inspired me to the core I renewed my perspective I feel it now more than ever before Now I realise let me soar Your story is my something Your story is my something Your story is my something more

Look at what I'm given This beautiful creation This sweet intoxication Something pure in my life Look at all these changes You're the light that shines within me And you'll be mine completely There'll be no darkness left to view I never knew this form of love existed Yet deep inside of me is where it all begins So hold me in your heart Cos you'll have mine forevere And when you lay inside my arms I'll protect you for always Never feel alone I'll always be with you A home is where the heart is meant to be You'll always have a home inside of me And we, we'll walk this road together I'll shelter you from burdens Just lean your weight on me Storms will bridge the distance You will always have a home here Right here inside my arms There's a love waiting just for you I never knew this form of love existed A world away from love that I've ever known So hold me in your heart Cos you'll have mine forever And when you lay inside my arms I'll protect you for always Never feel alone I'll always be with you A home is where the heart is meant to be You'll always have a home inside of me No matter where the journey leads you If you're path leads to some place new You'll always have a home in this heart of mine, of mine So hold me in your heart Cos you'll have mine forever And when you lay inside my arms I'll protect you for always Never feel alone I'll always be with you A home is where the heart is meant to be You'll always have a home inside of me

When you need to smile But you can't afford it Go on point it out I'm gonna steal it When the floor is more familiar than the ceiling I will break in late at night Shake up how you're feeling I'll never stop breaking the law for you I'll never stop helping to pull you through Whatever it takes To get what you need ignore the alarms Ignore the police I'll never stop breaking the law for you When you're taking steps But you need to go faster We can speed through streets So the shadows can't catch up When the corridors and all the stairs are making you tired I will come for you Set the building on fire I'll never stop breaking the law for you I'll never stop helping to pull you through Whatever it takes To get what you need Ignore the alarms Ignore the police I'll never stop breaking the law for you I'll never stop breaking the law for you I'll never stop helping to pull you through Whatever it takes To get what you need Ignore the alarms Ignore the police I'll never stop breaking the law for you

about

'Something More' is a six track EP of two original songs, an extended version of one of them and three covers.

This is an extremely personal project with ALL proceeds I receive from sales going to Cancer Research UK. A blend of acoustic, chill-out, pop, ballad and musical theatre.

Over the past few years several young people who I know have been diagnosed with cancer. This EP is thanks to them and their inspiring courage that gave me the 'Something More' I needed to put myself out there and create some music to help raise money for Cancer Research UK and support their incredible work.

Please buy from this site rather than another distributer (e.g itunes) to ensure as much money will get to Cancer Research UK as possible.

Thank you for visiting this page and please don't hesitate to get in touch to let me know what you think!

xXx Jess
